in anticipation of sunny days . . .

I've had the same pair of sunglasses for 12 years. They just wouldn't break or get lost...:) I think I'll have to get a new pair without a good excuse...

goldilocks and two friends . . .

Watercoloring (in-between projects) is a marvellous way to relax.

missing you . . .

So few of my friends are living in town... If not for the internet, I'd feel like a tree in the desert.
I haven't grown wings yet, won large sums of money (I can buy free time and plane tickets with), and Peter Pan did not drop by with magic dust ...
So - I'm making cards... Until I can make plans:)

It is always good to have an outlet for the chaos inside our heads. This pattern is my latest outlet. Thinking about the land of the rising sun and hoping it keeps on rising:)

My 7 y.o. daughter Margo really really wanted a blog of her own... and I say - why not? So here it is...'my strawberry unicorns'... a place to document ones drorings:) Better than in a box in the attic:)

I've got the . . .

I was working on a new thank you card... and a 'bestest friends' card came out. It happens sometimes:)
Oh... and Happy International Day of the Woman... to all the young old and everything in between girls out there!

my new ceramic man . . .

Meet the new ceramic man in my life... Mr. White Russian:) Oh... I love him so. He's a decanter, designed by Lagardo Tackett in the 50s for Kahlua.
Despite what any serious collector would think - I've washed off all the labels and removed the cork. I like him better when he's clean and shiny:)

in my pattern laboratory . . .

In my magic pattern laboratory you could see spring under the microscope... :)

the ghost of spring...

Watercoloring... it's nice to step away (once in a while) from the glowing screen...
